Each cottage has heating provided by either an open fire which will burn coal or logs (the initial fuel will be provided) or there will be a coal effect electric fire in the fire place with additional electric convector heaters in bedrooms. Hot water is provided by immersion heater. The first 100 units of electricity are included in the price and thereafter electric is charged at 10p per unit.

All cottages contain the following bedroom furniture, wardrobes (hangers included), drawers, bedside cabinets, table lights and a travel cot upon request. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided and the bed will be made up for your arrival. Guests at The Riverside Lodges have the use of the attractive communal garden with garden furniture and a barbeque for the summer months.

In addition there is a communal utility room which contains a freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and a pulley clothes drying rack. There is also local and regional tourist information. There is off street parking available for our guests, one space per cottage. For safety reasons and for the comfort of future guests we do not accept pets or smoking in the accommodation.
